Never Ending Card

I love these never-ending cards... I think they're so creative and cute and they make perfect cards since most people think they're awesome. And they're so easy to make. Here is one I made for my best friend who just had her baby girl, Lily, on Nov 16. Here are some pictures of the card...

The front flips opens to reveal view #1, which then flips opens to reveal #2 or #3, depending on which side you start with, and then flips again leading to #4 & ends up at the beginning

These are really easy to make. What makes these card unique and really cool is that you continue to fold each side back, revealing another side and continue to fold the sides back. There are a total of 6 views of the card and the views are different depending on which side you open first. As seen above, when opened one way the writing is shown by itself; when opened the other way, the baby girl & duck stickers are shown by themselves. The only problem is when you open it from the opposite side the images will be upside down... as shown below:

But depending on how you decorate it, it may not be a problem.

And if it's upside down like mine... it'll still look fine once you flip it again.

Now for how to make the card...

You'll need:

• 4 pieces of cardstock: 6 inches by 3 inches
• A bone folder
• Glue or Adhesive
• Whatever you want to decorate your card with... Paper, Ribbon, Stickers, Ink, etc.

Directions:

• Cut the pieces of cardstock to the measurements above
• Use the bone folder to make two creases 1.5" in on the horizontal/6" side and a crease at the 1.5" mark on the verticle/3" side (going down the middle)
• You should have two 1.5" x 1.5" squares at the top and 2 at the bottom of each piece
• Lay 2 of the pieces of cardstock horizontally on your table or work station and apply glue or adhesive to the outter squares (if you look above or below at my card, place the glue where the hand and foot prints are)
• Lay the other 2 pieces of cardstock on top vertically (in the opposite direction) and glue the outter squares together.
• Let dry
• When you're done you will have a card that is 6" x 6"... except in the 3rd view, which has 3" x 1.5" gaps missing on each side, making the measurements a little bit different (see pictures above)
• Decorate

Tip: you can decorate it any way you wish but its easiest to know the measurements first. Its best to figure out how the card folds first before decorating it, just making it easier to decorate.

I used 2.75 in x 2.75 in squares on all 4 sides, along with either 2.75 in x 1.25 in squares or 1.25 x 1.25 squares... but you can decorate it anyway you want
