Tri-Fold Card: Birthday

Here is another tri-fold card I made for a friend's birthday. She just had a baby so she got 3 cards that day lol but since this was for her birthday, I used bright colors & lots of glitter instead of the pastel and baby girl colors... I thought it'd be a nice change. I used prima flowers, flourishes from making memories, and stickles. One of my favorite ways to use stickles is to use them on flowers to make them glitter, so I did that on here too. TFL!

Thanksgiving Tri-Fold Cards

I have a new obsession with tri-fold cards. I think they're a really nice, different, and creative type of card & it's nice to give people something different and really great to see the excited they have when they get a card like this. Almost all the cards I made for Thanksgiving this year were Tri-Fold cards. They are actually really easy to make and really only require a ruler & a bone folder... I will put a tutorial up later incase anyone else wants to make these beautiful cards
Here are some of the cards that I made
I just loved this paper & thought it was perfect for Thanksgiving. I also added some prima flowers and flourishes from Making Memories for embellishments. To make the "Happy Thanksgiving" for the front... I printed it out on the computer and cut it out in an oval. I cut this out on a white piece of paper since I didn't really have any that matched the leaf paper, which is where ink can be a life saver. I inked the paper all over using Tim Holtz ink in tea dye and then did the edges using vintage photo. Then to make the boarder, I glued it to another piece of paper & cut around it using scalloped scissors, leaving a bit of room. Then dotted around the circle with stickles. I used 3d or pop up adhesive to give more dimension.

This card is actually a never-ending card and I'm upset I didn't get any pictures of the inside before I put it in the envelope and mailed it off..

And those are just a few of the tri-fold cards I made for this thanksgiving. Now to start on Christmas cards... I'll post a tutorial with the Christmas cards... because I know things are much easier to learn/do when you have pictures to go along with them.
